The northern white rhino is a subspecies of the white rhino which used to range over parts of Uganda, Chad, Sudan, the Central African Republic, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Years of widespread poaching and civil war in their home range have devastated northern white rhino populations, and they are now considered to be extinct in the wild. Only two remain, both at Ol Pejeta Conservancy.

The Last Northern White Rhinos At Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Meet the last northern white rhinos on earth - Najin, and Fatu, and learn about the heartfelt story of this subspecies that has been depleted by poaching. Spend time with them and you can take part in a few other activities from horseback safaris with rhinos, to exclusive night game drives, visit the chimpanzee sanctuary, bush walks and runs, day game drives etc.

You'll be driven up to Ol pejeta conservancy, arrive in the afternoon. Check in to your stay and chill. Later in the evening go on a night game drive.

Wake up, have breakfast, and head out to the chimpanzee sanctuary. You'll then visit the last northern white rhinos in the afternoon after which you can choose to go on a bush walk or horseback safari. Have sundowners before heading back to your stay.

Early morning game drive with a bush breakfast. Come back and check out. You'll then be driven back to Nairobi in the afternoon. The drive is around 4 hours.
